Adam Hawal
Making his PSA Tour debut in 2024, Adam Hawal was the definition of consistent throughout the five tournaments he played, reaching the semi-finals of all five.
Still just 16 years of age, he came within a whisker of reaching a final in the last of those tournaments, losing a fifth-game tiebreak 13-11 in the Arrayanes CC Open, but did reach the final of the recent British Junior Open U17 event.
He fell short of claiming the title, but his hard-hitting, physical style will make him a dangerous opponent for any player on Tour, and a successful 2025 would be a surprise to very few.
Yassin Shohdy
A livewire lefty from Cairo, Yassin Shohy is already a three-time champion on the PSA Squash Tour, claiming a trio of titles across 2024.
He is still just 19 years of age, though, and possesses a dangerous combination of speed and agility, displaying impressive retrieval skills whenever he takes to the court.
Aside from his three titles last year, he put in valiant efforts in five-game defeat to both Abhay Singh and former World No.35 Nasir Iqbal, and will have his sights set firmly a spot inside the world’s top 100 across the next 12 months.
