“The Egyptian Squash Federation regrets to announce that Nouran Gohar has informed us that she cannot participate in the coming World Teams Championships 2024 to be held in Hong Kong in December.
In her letter to us, she explained that she would be undergoing surgery and recovery during the period of the World Teams’ event.
We are sorry to know the extent of her injury and will miss her presence, making the Egyptian Women’s Team formidable as we all know her career wins and competitiveness.
The Egyptian Squash Federation’s main focus remains on the well-being of Egypt’s world-class athletes and prime talents, wishing her a speedy and perfect recovery, and looking forward to having Nouran back on the team for the World Teams Championship 2025.”
