Nour El Sherbini has stayed at World No.1 after the PSA Women’s World Rankings for December were released. El Sherbini makes it two successive months at World No.1 – and a 33rd month in total. The women’s top 20 is unchanged, with CIB Nouran Gohar (No.2), CIB Nour El Tayeb (No.3), and CIB Hania El Hammamy joining El Sherbini in the top five.
The rest of the rankings sees CIB Salma Hany at 10, Rowan Elaraby (No.14), Yathreb Adel (No.15), Nadine Shahin (No.17), and Nada Abbas (No.19).

Coll, the 28-year-old from Greymouth, reached the final of the Qatar Classic last month before falling to World No.1 Ali Farag, and rises a spot from No.5, with Karim Abdel Gawad going the other way.
CIB Ali Farag, who returned to World No.1 on November 1, retains that spot after winning his second Qatar Classic title, while Mohamed ElShorbagy and World Champion CIB Tarek Momen complete the top three while Marwan ElShorbagy stays at No.6.
A semi-final finish in Qatar sees Fares Dessouky rise to No.11, with CIB Mohamed Abouelghar falling to No.12. Mostafa Asal is at 14, Mazen Hesham complete the top 15 while Zahed Salem stays at 19.
