Fayrouz Aboelkheir will be the top seed for the Val De Reuil Normandie, a qualifying event for the PSA World Championships 2021-2022, which will be held from March 17-20 at Val de Reuil Tennis Squash.
The tournament is one of three World Championship qualifying events currently on the schedule, with the Odense Open and the University of Birmingham Open all having the same prize for the victors. The winners of this Challenger 5 level tournament will automatically qualify for the PSA World Championships. If either of the two players who win in Odense qualify for the sport’s premier event via their ranking, then the runners-up will be given a spot in Cairo.
Young Egyptian star Fayrouz Aboelkheir will be the top seed in the women’s draw, while Omar ElKattan faces [9/16] Valentin Rapp from Germany and [9/16] Ibrahim Elkabbani plays wild card French Manu Paquemar.
